Sources and Notes: Article, November 1986 Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Vinyard - Two Wed in Hood River Jeannina M. Benge of White Salmon and S. Wayne Vinyard of Glenwood, were married November 7, at the Hood River Bible Fellowship. Jeannina, daughter of Chuck and Sandy Smith of White Salmon, and Wayne, son of Sam and Marie Vinyard of Jackson, Missouri, were wed by Pastor Gary Benson, who served as the minister, joining the two in matrimony in a two ring ceremony. 100 guests attended the wedding. Linda Wilkes of White Salmon sang the "Wedding Song" accompanied by pianist Wendy Ott of The Dalles. The bride wore a turquoise blue sating slip with a rich french lace overlay in a 1920's design. Linda Westerman, the Matron of Honor, wore a similar style dress in a shade of rose. Bridesmaid Joy Vineyard also wore a similar style dress and color. The flower girl, Regina Roberts, who is the bride's niece, wore pink. Wayne's best man was his father, Sam. Other attendants of the groom were his two sons, Bob and Steven and the bride's son, Robert VanderVeen. The reception was held at the church's multipurpose room. Cake and punch were served. |
