Sources and Notes: Article, July 1992 Vinyards Mark Golden Event Jackson - Mr. and Mrs. Samuel C. Vinyard of Jackson celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary December 23, in California. They renewed their vows at Gilroy Bible Church in Gilroy, with the Rev. Kevin Wilson performing the ceremony. The group then gathered at Shadowbrook Restaurant in Capitola. Hosts were their children and spouses, Wayne and Nina Vinyard of Glenwood, Wash., Max and Gayle Vinyard of Gilroy, and Mary and David Wright of Mesa, Arizona. Vinyard and the former Marie Niswonger were married July 18, 1942, in St. Louis, by the Rev. Floyd V. Sams. Their attendants were Hassel and Elizabeth Looney. The Vinyards have nine grandchildren. |
