Mrs. George F. Steinike (Hortense Chapman) will assist her sister-in-law as matron of honor and G. J. Oppegard will serve as best man. Both Mrs. Steinike and her daughter are native daughters of Los Angeles, descendants of one of the earliest pioneer families. The bride-elect is active in both club and civic life of Los Angeles and is the executive secretary of the Los Angeles Landmarks Restoration Committee. Mr. Alles comes from Pennsylvania and has been in business in Los Angeles for a number of years. |
