Betrothal Revealed of Miss Steinike, Wayne Alles
Native Daughter's Engagement Told
Mrs. Frances Steinike formally announces the engagement of her daughter, Miss Florence Steinike, to Wayne Alles, the wedding to take place June 22, at a church ceremony.
Mrs. George F. Steinike (Hortense Chapman) will assist her sister-in-law as matron of honor and G. J. Oppegard will serve as best man.
Both Mrs. Steinike and her daughter are native daughters of Los Angeles, descendants of one of the earliest pioneer families. The bride-elect is active in both club and civic life of Los Angeles and is the executive secretary of the Los Angeles Landmarks Restoration Committee. Mr. Alles comes from Pennsylvania and has been in business in Los Angeles for a number of years.
