Engagement Announced

Formal announcement is made by Mr. Alfred S. Chapman of the engagement of his sister, Miss Hortense Chapman, to George F. Steinike, the wedding to be one of the events of the 24th inst., in St. Vincent's Church, Figueroa street at West Adams. Both Miss Chapman and Mr. Steinike are members of pioneer California families, the former being the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. A. Scott Chapman.
