Viola Burmeister, daughter of Mrs. Dorothea Burmeister of Ulmer and Donald W. Harto, son of Mrs. Catherine Harto were married at 7 p. m. Sunday March 23, in Peace Lutheran church near Ulmer.

The Rev. Arnold F. Boehnke performed the double ring ceremony before an altar decorated with baskets of jonquils and snapdragons and lighted candles in candelabra.

Mrs. James Blessington, organist played "Bridal Chorus" from Lohengrin as the processional and accompanied Janice Schneider who sang "O Perfect Love."

The bride was given in marriage by her uncle Albert Burmeister. She wore a floor length gown of white nylon over satin with lace trim and matching fingerless held in place with a pearlized orange blossom tiara. Her jewelry consisted of a two strand pearl necklace, the bridegroom's gift. Her bouquet of American Beauty roses was tied with white satin ribbon.

Iva Mae Burmeister, sister of the bride was bridesmaid. She wore a floor length gown of orchid net and lace over satin and matching fingerless mitts. Her net tiara matched her gown and she carried yellow jonquils.

The bridegroom was attended by his brother Roland Harto as best man. Everett Burmeister, cousin of the bride and Allen Williams, brother-in-law of the bridegroom served as ushers.

The bride's mother wore a navy blue dress and the bridegroom's mother, a black dress. Each wore a corsage of red roses.

After the ceremony, a reception was held for about 45 guests in the church hall which was decorated in the bride's colors orchid and white. The bridal table was centered with a three tiered cake trimmed in orchid and white and topped with a miniature bridal couple.

After a short honeymoon the newlyweds will reside in the McIntosh house which the bridegroom recently purchased.
