Sources and Notes: Sikeston Herald, Sikeston, Scott, Missouri, September 30, 1954 Cape Girardeau - Mrs. Mayme H. Limbaugh of Benton and Arthur B. Limbaugh of Bell City were united in marriage Sunday afternoon at Centenary Methodist Church in Cape Girardeau. Attending the ceremony were Mr. and Mrs. Edgar Breeding and son, Bobby, of Cape, and Mr. and Mrs. James S. Olsen of Chicago. The women are daughters of Mrs. Limbaugh. The Rev. R. D. Holliday performed vows for the double ring ceremony. For her wedding, Mrs. Limbaugh was attired in a suit of navy blue with which she wore a close-fitting hat of velvet matching the color of her corsage which was composed of American Beauty rosebuds. Immediately following the ceremony, a reception was given at the home of Mr. and Mrs. W. A. Clark for members of both the bride and bridegroom's families. Mr. and Mrs. Limbaugh left by plane on a wedding trip to California and on their return will be at home in Bell City. |
