Dorothy Daniger Soon to Wed Lt. Van Tatenhove

Announcement of the engagement of Miss Dorothy Daniger, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. T. J. Daniger, 2915 Monroe to Second Lieut. Lester Van Tatenhove of the U. S. signal corps, is made this week by Miss Daniger?s aunt, Mrs. J. H. Daniger, in Santa Ana, Calif.

The news of the betrothal was revealed to 30 guests at a dessert bridge, held in Daniger?s tea room. Tiny signal corps flags mounted on place cards bore the names of ?Danie and Les.?

Miss Daniger has made her home with her aunt and uncle while she attended junior college in Santa Ana.

Lieut. Van Tatenhove, is the son of Mr. and Mrs. John Van Tatenhove, of Holland, Mich. He is a graduate of Hope college, and the Harvard School of Law, Cambridge, Mass. For years, prior to his entering the signal corps, in May, 1942, he was associated with Riley C. Smith, Santa Ana attorney. He is now stationed at Dayton, Ohio.

No definite date has at yet been set for the wedding.
