Engagement Told
Mr. and Mrs. William Henry Workman announce the engagement of their daughter, Miss Mary Workman, to Lieut. Paul Fleming Dugan, U.S.N., now attached to the U.S.S. California. Miss Workman, member of a pioneer California family, was graduated from the Sacred Heart Academy, Menlo Park, in 1928, and attended the University of California at Los Angeles, where she is a member of Delta Gamma Sorority. Lieut. Dugan, who is the son of Judge and Mrs. Daniel A. Dugan of Orange, N. J. was graduated from Annapolis in 1923 and later received a Master of Science degree in engineering at Harvard University. The wedding will be an event of October.
The news was first told at an informal luncheon party given Saturday by the bride-elect in the home of her parents, 2425 South St. Andrews Place.
