Sources and Notes:
Married by Carl A. G. Storch (1764-1831), a Lutheran minister who served several churches in Rowan County and Cabarrus County, North Carolina.
Carl August Gottlieb Storch came to North Carolina in 1788 and settled in Salisbury. He served German Protestant churches in the nearby area including the Buffalo Creek Church near Concord, Cabarrus County. Earlier referred to as the "Buffalo Creek Meeting House" and the "Dutch Buffalow Creek Church", the church is now known as Saint John's Lutheran Church.
The marriage is recorded in "The Account Book of Pastor Storch, Rowan County, North Carolina" (The North Carolina Genealogical Society Journal, Vol II, page 96). - Jerry T. Limbaugh
