Miss Jana Lynn Merritt, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Marshall Merritt of Manchester, became the bride of Ronnie Vanzant, son of Mr. and Mrs. M. L. Vanzant of Estill Springs, on Sept. 27 at First Baptist Church in Manchester.

The bride chose for her wedding a street-length dress of white satin featuring a lace overlay designed with long sleeves and a round neckline. Her veil was attached to a white satin rose and she carried a white satin Bible, a gift from the Young Women's Auxiliary of First Baptist Church, marked by a white orchid and white satin streamers.

The bride is a graduate of Central High School with the Class of 1968 and is employed at Coffee Farmers Co-operative. Mr. Vanzant was graduated from Lee High School Huntsville, with the lass of 1964 and is employed by a construction company in Winchester.
