The marriage of Miss Mary Elizabeth Vanzant, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Joel Vanzant and Thomas Motlow Wagoner, son of Mrs. Cleo Wagoner and the late John Wagoner of Moore County, was quietly solemnized Sunday morning, June 29, at 10 o'clock at the home of the bride's parents. The Rev. W. B. Spraker of the Cumberland Presbyterian Church officiated in the presence of immediate members of the two families. Attendants were Miss Louise Pugh and Edward Vanzant.

The bride was becomingly gowned in a costume of blue and beige. Miss Pugh was attired in similar colors.

The bride is a graduate of Central High School, Winchester. She attended David Lipscomb College, Nashville, and later graduated from Draughan's Business College, Nashville. She has been employed at the Franklin County Motors.

Mr. Wagoner is likewise a graduate of Central High School. He is now a member of the army and is located at Ft. Jackson, S. C., where he has the rank of Corporal.

Previous to his army service he was employed by Kroger and Company, Murfreesboro.

Attending the wedding from a distance were the groom's mother, his two sisters and their husbands.
