Sandra Lynn Johnson and Mark Edward Tucker were married in a July 23 ceremony at the Canaan Baptist Church in Tullahoma.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charlie M. Tinsley of Tullahoma and the late Wesley Johnson, also of Manchester.

The bridegroom is the son of the Rev. and Mrs. Cecil J. Tucker of Tullahoma and the grandson of Mrs. Nola Limbaugh and the late Charlie Limbaugh of Winchester, and the late Ernest and Annie Tucker.

The Rev. Eddie Canady officiated at the 5 p.m. ceremony, with music provided by Mrs. Eddie Canady, organist, and Mrs. Vickie Coates and Dwain Wright, vocalists.

The church was decorated with an arch candelabrum, two swirl candelabra, and a unity candelabra. Mothers' pews were marked with pink rosebuds and baby's-breath, with other pews marked with white bows.

Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a white dress of opulent satin with a cameo neckline, Victorian sleeves joining a molded bodice with traced beaded and jeweled re-embroidered Alencon lace, and a full, circular skirt which fell from a basque waistline. Her cathedral train was bordered with handclipped Alencon lace, and her fingertip veil had a double rolled edge and was attached to a floral headpiece of baby silk roses accented with pearls and crystals. she carried a bouquet of mixed spring flowers.

The bride?s sister, Jeannie Johnson, was a maid of honor, with the bridegroom's sister, Diane Waller, and Jeanna Cox, Julie Brokaw, Cynthia Davis and Kim Floyd as bridesmaids. They wore tea-length pink taffeta dresses with wedding ring necklines, puffed sleeves and princess-seamed bodices with overlays of seville lace.

The flower girl, Heather Chambers, wore a tea-length pink satin dress. The attendants carried white fans with pink rosebuds and baby's-breath.

Gary Tucker served his brother as best man. Also attending the bridegroom were Eddie Waller, Alan Lendley, Teddy Williams, and the bride's brothers, Jeffery and Chris Tinsley.

A reception was held at the Lions' Club following the ceremony. Serving were Anita Tinsley, Eula Tinsley, Sheila Ham and Cindi Shelton. Sherri Johnson and Ginger Sartain were in charge of gifts, and Stacey Ham and Alisha Shelton kept the guest register.

The mother of the bride chose for the wedding a blue two-piece tea-length dress with a wedding ring neckline, full straight sleeves and dropped waist bodice edged with matching satin ribbon forming a flower design.

The bridegroom?s mother wore a ramance blue tea-length dress with a blouson bodice. crystal pleated skirt with long full sleeves and satin cuffs.

Following a wedding trip to Gatlinburg, the couple is living in Tullahoma.

A graduate of Franklin County High School, the bride is a member of the Keysmen Quartet and Woodmen of the World. The bridegroom, who also graduated from FCHS and is a member of the Keysmen, is a volunteer for the North Franklin Volunteer Fire Department and is employed by the Elk River Public Utilities District.

Prenuptial parties included a shower hosted by Woodmen of the World; a shower given by Diane Waller, and a tea given by Sheila Ham, Cindi Shelton, Anita Tinsley, Eula Tinsley and Reba Hunt. The bridegroom's parents hosted the rehearsal dinner
