The wedding of Miss Ann Fulton, daughter of Mrs. Henry Fulton of Oran, and Sergeant Ray Barber were united in marriage at the Baptist church in Cape Girardeau on Sunday, September 9, the announcement having been made this week. Rev. H. H. McGinty, pastor of the church performed the ceremony. Miss Wilma Fulton, sister of the bride, and Sergeant Nelson Steimle, attended the couple. Hiss Henrietta Fulton and Mrs. Juanita Loyd were also present. Sergeant Barber recently returned from Europe, where his served with the armed forces. Upon completion of his furlough, he will report to Camp Gruber, Okla., for further assignment to duty. Mrs. Barber, who is a member of the public school faculty at Oran, will retain her position. |
