Sources and Notes: Sikeston Herald, Sikeston, Scott, Missouri, February 2, 1939 Miss Grace Estes, daughter of Mrs. Nellie Estes, and George Lough, both of Sikeston, were married Friday night, January 27, at the home of Rev. and Mrs. E. W. Milner, with the former performing the single-ring ceremony. Immediately following the ceremony, Mr. and Mrs. Lough left for New York, where they will spend a two week?s honeymoon. On their return trip they plan to visit Mr. Lough?s relatives in various points of Pennsylvania. Mrs. Lough has been a resident of Sikeston most of her life. She attended Will Mayfield College at Marble Hill, and is a graduate of the Cape Girardeau Business College. For the past fifteen years she has been bookkeeper at the Buckner-Ragsdale Store here. In addition to her business Career, Mrs. Lough is active in the work of the local Baptist church, where she is organist and director of music. Mr. Lough has been manager of the Buckner Ragsdale Store for the past fifteen years, coming to Sikeston from Charleston, where he spent his boyhood. On their return to Sikeston, Mr. and Mrs. Lough will make their home in Mr. Lough?s apartment at the residence of Mrs. Charles Dover. |
