Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Lipps of Cape Girardeau celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary with a private dinner at their home May 19, 2007.
Lipps and Ruth Wolters were married May 19, 1957, by the Rev. Edwin H. Witman at First Methodist Church in Santa Monica, Calif. Their attendants were Mary Lou Wolters and Billy Voelker.
The couple has four children, Jan Brumbaugh, and Doug, Denny and Judi Lipps. They have four grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.
