June Nuptials - Miss Jacklynne Stowe recited wedding promises with Richard C. Ramstrom.

Miss Stowe Bride Of R. C. Ranstrom

A mid-June bride is the former Miss Jacklynne Stowe, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. David T. Stowe, 636 7th, who exchanged wedding vows with Richard C. Ranstrom, son of Mr. and Mrs. Calvin L. Ranstrom, 350 15th, Friday night in the Lorin Farr Stake Center, with Bishop Gilbert Marriott officiating.

Following the wedding ceremony, a reception was held in the Stake Recreation hall. A dainty yellow and green color scheme was carried out, with the bridal party receiving guest before an archway, adorned with yellow rosebuds and daisies.

For her wedding and reception the bride wore a floor-length gown of lace and tulle over satin, fashioned with a Sabrina neckline, trimmed with sequins and seed pearls. Alternating panels of lace and tulle, with hand-clipped lace appliqu?d on the tulle made up the flowing skirt. A Juliet cap of lace, trimmed with seed pearls, held her finger-tip veil. Her bridal bouquet was a cascade of yellow roses centered with a white orchid.

Attending the bride as matron of honor was Mrs. Doris Frey. Other attendants were sisters of the bridegroom, Mrs. Irene Barnes and Miss Janet Ranstrom, and Miss Merleen Poulson and Miss Jean Stowe, sister of the bride. Little Susan Scott was flower girl.

They were frocked in yellow taffeta and carried colonial bouquets of tinted green carnations, centered with a yellow chrysanthemum.

The bridegroom chose Terry Roundy as his best man, with Jeffery Stowe, brother of the bride, and Gordon Frey as ushers.

The bridal table featured a four-tiered wedding cake, trimmed with yellow roses and topped with white wedding bells.

After a honeymoon trip in Las Vegas and Catalina Island the young couple will reside in Ogden.
