Attractive Miss Is July Bride

A lovely summer bride is the former Miss Connie Checketts, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas L. Checketts, 1935 Grant, who exchanged wedding vows Thursday with William Jeffery Stowe.

The ceremonies were solemnized in the Logan LDS Temple, President A. George Raymond officiated.

Following the rites, the newlyweds were honored at a luncheon at the Bluebird Caf?, with parents of the bridegroom, Mr. and Mrs. Ted Stowe, 636 7th, as hosts.

That evening they received guests at a reception at the North Weber Stake Center.

The bride?s gown was a lovely creation of white crepe, fashioned floor-length with an empire bodice daintily accented with lace appliqu? in a grape design.

The chapel train was caught at the waist with a lace-trimmed bow, and her elbow-length veil was attached to an organdy and pearl crown. She carried white glamellias.

A sister of the bride, Miss Beth Checketts, was maid of honor. Other attendants were Mrs. Allen Heiner, Miss Terri Behunin, Miss Phyllis Forsey, Miss Myra Erickson and Miss Sunee Smith.

Their deep shrimp colored gowns were full-length with empire lace bodices, and their flowers were white chrysanthemums with streamers of moss green and shrimp.

Richard Ranstrom performed duties of best man. Ushers were Allen Heiner, Boyd Christensen, Dale Hancock and Neal Stowe.

Following a short trip to Yellowstone National Park, the couple will reside in Ogden.
