Sources and Notes: November 1976 Niswongers Have 50th Anniversary Jackson - Mr. and Mrs. Jesse Niswonger celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary Sunday at the First Baptist Church here. The event was hosted by their children, Jesse Niswonger, and Bill Niswonger, both of Jackson, and Mrs. A. C. Curtis of Chesterfield. The couple also has five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren who were present. Other special guests included Mrs. Niswonger's sisters, Mrs. Lily Penrod of St. Louis and Mr. and Mrs. H. E. Niswonger of Dallas, Texas. The couple was married November 23, 1926, in Doniphan and have lived here all their married life. |
